Mike began riding dirt bikes and ATVs at age 10. From there his love for "any thing gas powered" continued
to grow. By 15 years old he had rebuilt many bike engines and was working to restore a 1966 Ford pickup,
which he drove throughout high school. Preparing for college, he restored a 1978 Ford pickup that he still
drives to this day.
After graduating from the Ford Asset program at CMTC, Mike worked for 7 years at a dealership as a
Ford technician, specializing in electrical and computer diagnostics. Ongoing schooling and certifications
reinforced the education received in college. In 2000 he moved to a Polaris, Bombardier and Skidoo
dealership. There, his love for the sport along with factory training, allowed him to perfect his skills as
a motor sports technician.
Mike has an extreme attention to detail in everything he does and has been told many times that he
is " too fussy ". He was always taught that any job worth doing is worth doing right and he employs this
motto while working on your equipment.
Mike has competed in many snowmobile drag races, on ice and grass, and trail rides thousands of miles
a year in Maine and Quebec. He has also competed in many motocross races and still actively rides
dirt bikes in a competitive fashion.
"Being active in the sport allows me to experience the necessity of a job well done. I understand
the helplessness one feels when faced with a mechanical breakdown hundreds of miles from their
truck. Or the frustration of losing a race due to inferior work. I do all I can to ensure that my customers
do not have to experience these feelings while enjoying their motor sports hobbies."
